WHAT DO THESE HOMES IN WILLOW PARK HAVE TO OFFER THEIR MEMBERS?
All homes have basements All three- and four-bedroom homes have carports with electrical outlets and outside storage enclosures. All one and two bedroom homes have a common parking area close to their home with electrical outlets. All homes are equipped with electric stoves, refrigerators, gas dryers, gas hot water heaters and gas furnaces. All homes are completely self contained.
BECOMING A MEMBER
Come to the office at 3-71 Dorset Street during office hours (1 to 5 PM weekdays) for an application. You may wish to call ahead (ph. 204-632-0746) to find out which size units we are accepting applications for; applications for certain sizes will be suspended when there are excessively long waiting lists. Pick up an application at our office or click here to download our Application form.
Note: Completed Application forms must be submitted in person.
All of our waiting lists (one, two, three and four-bedroom) are currently closed.
Applicants to the Co-op must meet the following standards in order for their application to be considered by the Board of Directors:

Applicant & co-applicant must authorize a credit check and financial investigation; this credit check must not show a bankruptcy or negative credit rating.

Applicant & co-applicant must apply in person.

Applicant & co-applicant must produce government issued photo ID for photocopying.

Only persons planning to live in the unit may apply; no guarantors or others may be included.

The applicant & co-applicant must be gainfully employed with their current employer for at least one year, or have an ongoing, independent and guaranteed source of income. To demonstrate this, you must produce a copy of your latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment (Canada Revenue will provide you with a copy if you have misplaced yours), and a letter of employment.

All prospective applicants must meet the income requirement (as outlined under Units and Rates).

There is a $100.00 administrative fee for applications, with $25.00 to be paid at the time the application is processed, and $75.00 due when you accept a unit.

Applicants may apply and be on a waiting list for only one size of unit at any given time.

Unsuccessful applicants must wait twelve (12) months before re-applying.
